Thank You Universe!

Hold your hands over your heart, close your eyes and remember all the times in your life that you have gratitude for. It could be your parents, for giving you life, a school teacher who helped you attain your educational goals, an old partner or relationship that, although was not right at the time, helped you grow and evolve to become wiser and more knowledgeable. Think of all the things you are currently grateful for, your children, friends, career, home and health. While meditating on these things, regulate your breathing, taking deep inhalations followed by long exhalations. Feel your heart, imagine you are cupping your hands over its exact shape and size, imagine the huge aorta chamber pumping blood through and get the rhythm of the beat in your head. Visualise nothing but love, joy, peace and happiness surrounding you with your hands protecting your heart from any negativity. Thank the universe for everything you ever had and everything you are and that you are able to clasp your hands over your beautiful beating heart.

You can try this meditation with a loved one too. Place one hand over their heart, while holding their hand to yours and vice versa. Look into each others eyes and feel for the beat and rhythm of the heart. Smile at each other and be thankful for the relationship between you. Take just five minutes to enjoy the silence and energy that you have and, when you have completed the meditation, thank each other then wrap your arms in a big bear hug!
